As part of their safe and sound topic, the children from P1 to P4 were treated to a visit from two police officers. They heard all about how to keep safe when travelling in vehicles, riding their bikes, walking on rural roads and when crossing roads in the town. They also had the opportunity to ask the police officers questions about their equipment and roles and responsibilities. They all agreed the best part was seeing Mrs Rooney getting handcuffed and hearing the siren on the police car!
