The girls and boys put on a brilliant display of creativity and imagination yesterday for World Book Day. They dressed up as a characters from books and their costumes were fabulous! Our school librarians organised lots of fun activities for the children to do throughout the day. All children brought in a book that they have read to swap with another child in their class. Primary 1 children designed new book covers for their favourite stories and the Primary 7 children came down to their class to read each of them a story. Primary 2 and 3 children had a visit from the school librarians who read them a story. Primary 2 then made bookmarks and Primary 3 designed bunting for our school library. The Primary 4 to Primary 7 children all took part in an escape room challenge in the school library which was set up by the librarians, and made book recommendation fortune tellers back in class. An action packed day for our boys and girls! Thank you to our school librarian team for all your hard work!
